Use the 4Ps whether you deploy AI or sell it

Deploying AI in your own business

The 4Ps give your people clear decision rights, a regular cadence and an evidence trail, so AI goes live sooner. The free assessment takes five minutes and shows your results straight away.

Selling AI to enterprises and passing their security review

Enterprise buyers ask for model cards, risk registers, and ISO 42001 and EU AI Act alignment before they sign. The Enterprise-Ready Governance Pack builds that evidence in fourteen days.

    The framework

What each of the 4Ps covers

Each one can be audited. Together they let you scale AI safely.

    Primed

    Literacy and readiness.

Before any tool goes live, your people have the skills and shared terms, and know what AI can and cannot do.

    Principled

Decision rights and a human in the loop.

Who decides, who approves and who can override, with a person in the loop where it matters.

    Practised

    Operating cadence.

Reviews, escalation routes and measures that run to the meeting rhythm your teams already keep.

    Protected

    Risk, compliance, audit, continuity.

ISO 42001 and EU AI Act alignment, model cards, risk registers and audit trails you can hand to a regulator or a buyer. If a model or vendor is restricted, recalled or withdrawn, your product keeps running on a tested fallback.

    The method

Where the 4Ps fits in the method

The method has three steps, each repeatable in about an hour. Pick the process worth changing. Redesign it so every step does one job and has an owner. Then govern it. The 4Ds of Work Design covers the first two steps and the 4Ps the third. The 4Ps goes round the work from the start, like a harness.

In the workshop, the group runs this on a real process of its own.

    The 4Ds
Divide, Decide, Demarcate, Declare. Work design for one process. It decides who does each step and what may go live.
    The 4Ps
Primed, Principled, Practised, Protected. AI governance. Inside a process it is the harness, and across the organisation it is the assessment.
    The 6Ps
People, Purpose, Principles, Practices, Productivity, Performance. Team performance. It sits inside Practised and is behind the delivery results below.

Choose the free check that fits your question

The 4Ps assessment scores what you already have in place, out of a hundred. It is for a leadership team deciding whether the business is ready to use AI properly.

The AI Opportunity Scorecard measures what a business is losing, in hours a week. It has twenty questions across four areas and takes about five minutes. It is for an owner or manager who wants to know what AI could take off their week. Run the AI Opportunity Scorecard.

Most businesses start with the hours. The governance question comes a few months later, when enough of the team uses the tools that someone has to decide who may do what, with which data.
